The recent "Godzilla" of around 2014 was so popular that there are more movies with the big Monster planned for the future. "Godzilla 2" is presently scheduled to open in theaters sometime in 2018.

And, there are possible movies planned ahead starring Godzilla and King Kong as well.

Godzilla is a better monster than Kong. Godzilla can be a hero or a bad dude but Kong is straight mean.
