Who should join the console wars?

If you could pick any existing game developer or related company to enter into the console races, which company would it be and why? It could be any company that has made a console before or your favorite game developer.

Hmmm, that's a hard question to answer. I'm not even sure of all the different game companies, etc., but I would say Nintendo. They are my favorite and I think the best and they need to keep it up.

Sega! The Dreamcast was really a great machine. If Sega could just get more third party support, they could be a real contender. For some reason, Sega has never done enough to attract the other game companies to the console.

Since the Dreamcast had a version of Windows on it, a new Sega system could run Windows XP or something similar. Then it could play PC games as well as games for the specific system.

Everything has a pattern. Something set. Even random things. They aren't random at all, its complex mathematics. The trick is to find the pattern. Then you can exploit it.

People think things have a certain end. Taxes. Work. Due dates don't really exist. Trust me. When you put a band of world scholars in the same room, and set them on talking about anything, the most interesting topics come up. The existence of negative time. The probability of "random occurrence". The government's involvement in the media. And falsified due dates. They aren't real, trust me....

Any company that has a console out now. Pretty much just Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony.

Blizzard is a good choice. I bet they would make a quality console.

No one right now. The market is pretty saturated. It would be cool to see Sega come back, but it would be short lived. No one would have faith in their ability to last with the big dogs. I pretty much consider the Xbox to be the spiritual successor to the Dreamcast anyway.

I don't know, if Sega could miraculously come back with a supersystem they would be a good competitor.
