Clean or Kill ?

Postby Silver_Surfer1 » Tue Jun 8, '10, 3:18 am

Saw a very disturbing article online this morning regarding the animals affected by the huge Gulf Oil spill. It asks, or addresses the question of, whether the animals affected by the oil spill should be cleaned or killed.

I think steps should be taken to save as many of the birds, and other affected animals, as possible. There's going to be a very high fatality rate regardless, but that makes it even more important to help those that can be saved. If the eco system is ever going to have a chance of recovering, killing all the birds in the area is not the way to promote that.

I'll have to agree with Thoul on this one. I'm pretty sure that hundreds to even thousands of people would be glad to volunteer their time to help clean the birds.

we don't have to kill them. We have no reason for that. People have to clean them all. Thats my opinion...
