Friendship is a two way street,
where two people like to meet.
It is filled with pot holes end to end,
easily passed by any friend.
If the pot holes bring them down,
maybe they should not come around.
If they cheat and take a different route,
maybe it's time to give them the boot.
But not everyone is going to take the easy street,
so don't assume things or the friendship will be cheated.
There is no sure way to know if it is the best,
so put your best foot forward and take the test.
You may find that it won't work out,
but only by taking a chance will friendships come about.
