In Memory - 2008

Let's begin this thread over again also with the New Year of 2008.

As before, This thread will be a memorial and tribute to those who have touched our lives in some way and have recently passed on from this life.

Whether in the entertainment world (music, tv, movies) or in some other field, we celebrate their lives and their achievements.

We will miss them, but will always remember them in our hearts along with their lasting legacy and their impact on our lives and our world. We also offer condolences to their families, friends, and other fans.

Today, January 11, 2008 we have news of the passing of a legend in the Ice Skating field, Christopher "Bowman The Showman" Bowman. Anyone who ever saw him skate will remember the great showmanship and skating that he gave in each performance. He will be missed. Condolences to his family and friends.

It's ironic, in the link below they have his lawyer saying he was admitted to the hospital with Pneumonia but was expected to make a complete recovery. In the top link, he's dead.
