Phantasy Star: Fringes of Algo

I'm deciding to go back and play some games I haven't played in awhile. I'm stuck between two choices. Chrono Cross, and Suikoden V. Now both games offer excellent gameplay and story. I want to play Chrono Cross because with the new Chrono Trigger DS port the new ending they made that ties CT and CC together just made me want to play Chrono Cross again. But on the other hand the Suikoden series has always fascinated me with their storys and wars. So what do you think I should play?

I said Cross... so Trigger has a new ending? I'm gonna have to get that, then. Are there any other major changes?

I'd go with Chrono Cross, seeing as how I've never played any of the Suikoden series.

Hmm, new ending? Never beat Chrono Trigger, so that doesn't affect me much.

And to answer your questions, the only new content I've heard of is Touch-Screen controls and some new dungeon. So, think of it more on the lines of "Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls": More of the same, but a little sprinkle of extra to get you to buy it.

Ah, that old gag, huh? It got me to pick up Zelda DX back in the day. I do need some more games for DX though, so maybe I'll pick up Chrono Trigger when the price goes down a little.

I've actually seen the new ending on Chrono Trigger. Lets just say it involves a certain someone and a certain boss that is in Cross.

I think I know which character you're referring to--even though I haven't seen the ending. This gets me hyper~~

Alright so I decided to play Chrono Cross. I'll let you know where I'm at. I just got through Viper Manor, taking Pierre as the person I sneak in with (Pierre = Hard Route, Nikki = Medium Route, Guile = Easy Route). So I snuck in using a party of Serge Leena and Pierre, breezing through everything somewhat (stocked up on each element before I went in.) When I first played the game when it first came out when I got to Lynx he actually caused me to run from the battle a few times. This time around I didn't have to run, noone died or got seriously damaged. I'm on a normal new game, and I'm not going to collect all the characters on this save, just gonna play through it once. (Already got a New Game+ save with all characters and *99) I'm taking the Save Kid route on this one since it nets me less characters. A few of you are probably wondering, why not go the other route, you get Glenn and his awsomeness. Well I know how strong Glenn is and I want to get certain characters and Glenn isnt one of them. Anyways I'm saved right outside of Termina heading back towards the beach to go to Home World. My clocked time is 2hr 12mins.

Anyhow, I always was mean to Kid and made her jealous in the beginning, lol. It's funny if she never joins you ONCE and yet you end up facing the decision of saving her or not. Happened the last time I played too~
