Hahn is left handed, in the epilogue of Phantasy Star IV, you can see him using chalk with his left hand: http://www.phantasy-star.net/psiv/psivends.html

Hm. Nice catch. Although if I recall correctly (which I might not, been a long time since I played PSIV) he uses his knife right-handed, so I'd say he's ambidextrous.

Other gaming goals: completing a Living Pokedex (minus some event Pokes) and going through at least 1 game per generation

The little headshot of Hahn holding chalk looks really weird, though. Like, which finger is which? Maybe for that smaller ending shot the chalk isn't in his left hand?

It looks like the left hand to me. Only the thumb and index finger are holding the chalk. The others are folded.
Kind of like when someone uses their fingers in a "this much" sign.
