I did my first video with bass guitar.

This one is Island, the theme of Genmel from Breath of Fire III. I love this kind of dark, jazzy sound, so I had to play this one. I actually intended to have footage of the keyboard parts in there, as well, but since I can't edit video for crap as of yet and I was proud that I got the whole bass part done in one take I figured I would just have that.

Thank you, Silver Surfer! I still have to learn how to edit other parts in, to get the keyboard next time, but it's pretty fun doing these videos.

I had to adjust my audio settings a bit to hear it better, but once I did it sounded pretty good. Well done, especially for a first video with something new.

Also, just curious…what exactly is the design on the shirt you're wearing, if you don't mind me asking? Looks pretty cool.

Thank you, Wolf Bird and Atlinsmere. Wolf Bird, I was wearing a Rorschach t-shirt based on the Watchmen movie. I love the graphic novel and I definitely liked the design on the shirt.

And Atlin, I am definitely a bass player at heart, so I plan to do quite a few more videos with bass, I've just been in a piano mood lately (trying to get where I can play it a little more passably, ha ha).

Somehow I missed this when I was on vacation - whoops!

Anyhoo, this is a catchy tune and I really like the part you're playing. I'm completely useless when it comes to instruments with strings, so I'll just nod like I know what I'm talking about and say nice job!

Sorry for not responding sooner on this, augmentedfourth, thank you for that! Just wanted to drop in another cover with bass, this time the Minish Village theme from The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap. This theme is so gorgeous, I love the bass line. I did play the other parts, except for the drums, which are programmed, but like the last time I only took video of the bass.
