It won’t really “finish” before then. It’s a date based on what meteorologists have calculated as when average ocean temperatures when water is typically warm enough to create/sustain these storms. Asking hurricane season to end early is like asking winter to end early. Weather is very fluid and doesn’t care about the dates we set to organize things into this season or that season. Even after November 1st, a storm could still form, just as even after winter ends, there can still be a big snowstorm.

I know it's just a date based on what meteorologists have ! Sort of "speculation" (even if the word is not correct !) :) And yes after it'll be the time of snowstorms... :(
