Hard to believe that some college students are having this much a problem with Math/Algebra!

Well, I know I didn't do very well on my stats midterm...but we get to make up some points and I think most of the reason I did badly was some bad news I got that morning that took over my mind midway through the exam. I look at my grade and I can see where my mind fell apart.
Last finished Pokémon game: Shield
Other games: Skyrim Special Edition (Switch), Spyro Reignited Trilogy (Switch & PS4), Okami (Switch & PS4)
Other gaming goals: completing a Living Pokedex (minus some event Pokes) and going through at least 1 game per generation

More people are going to college these days too. Even the people who struggle with some subjects more have to continue their education to get a decent job. Math is a very hard subject for some folks even in high school, but many high schools don't require advanced math like one would see in college for graduation.

The student said the requirement was only 2 years of math. You could probably only have a limited knowledge of Alegbra by then, I know some of my friends would be the same way here, if it wasn't a 4 year requirement...XD

Being married to a professional tutor, the reasons why can vary, but usually it can come down to unfamiliarity with the subject, and also bad math teachers.
I had to see a private tutor when I was studying for the GRE. I had forgotten so many math skills, and the tutor really made a difference.
It can take time, but consistent studying and seeing a tutor makes a huge difference with math skills. Most colleges offer free tutoring for students.
