Good Friday is tomorrow April 3, 2015. Good Friday is a holiday observed by many people to commemorate the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ. It follows Palm Sunday and it precedes Easter Sunday. The celebration known as Passover will begin this year during the evening of Good Friday.
Good Friday is also chosen as a very good time to plant some crops and garden items according to some old almanacs and other gardening advice which may have something to do with the moon being full around this time which makes it a fertile time to plant, or something along those lines. Although the weather may factor heavily into planting these crops in some areas also as some areas are still seeing snow and freezing temps this year.
Whatever the reason, enjoy the holiday!
