August 6, 2021 was the 76th Anniversary of the Hiroshima Bombing that happened in World War 2 on August 06, 1945. It was the beginning of the end of World War 2.

Related to the above events is Nagasaki Memorial Day celebrated on August 09 each year in Japan. Nagasaki was the second city bombed after Hiroshima in WW2.
