Has anybody noticed this about Phantas Star 2?

The game only takes place within a span of two days, the second day begins when Tyler saves you and you can go to Dezolis.

What two interesting days to have XD

It's not exactly confirmed anywhere. But I noticed, there's nowhere in the game, to confirm that when you complete and finish the quests, there is nowhere saying they were done in different days.

I presume the second day begins when you meet Tyler, because you were sleeping and when you wake up you meet him.

There is nothing to prove this but there is lots and I mean LOTS of conjectural evidence against it.

Missions take time to plan. People need time to recover after battle. Before they unlock every town's teleport staton, they walk the WHOLE PLANET on foot. THEN they need to do the same for Dezo. Also: space travel. You know. Mota-Dezo-Mota-Dezo-Mota-Dezo.... takes time.

Days? Weeks? My meseta is on ''a few solid months"

But... it only takes a second or two to get from Mota to Dezo.

Slightly longer if Shir decides to steal from the only armor shop in Ryuka.

Rolf: Ugh. Did she steal something again?
Rudo: Yup. And get this. She just posted something on her MyBox.
[Picture: Shir making an XD face and a peace sign next to the party's spaceship in the plaza in front of Central Tower. The ship is wrecked. Everything that was straight is now bent. Everything that was bent is now more bent. There are definitely no user-salvageable parts inside.]
Anna: .....I think we're gonna be stuck here for a while.

Eh, even with the super-fast interplanetary travel it's got to be a few months at least. I mean, Motavia and Dezolis are supposed to be entire planets (admittedly, very small ones, given there are only a few cities) and Rolf & co traverse the wilderness by foot (at least until they can teleport/drive a hovercar around).

As far as the whole short duration claims of the game, I find it difficult to believe with help from a useful quotation regarding research of difficult claims:

"The lack of evidence is not in itself, evidence."

You may not agree and many do not, but for a viewpoint to be proven beyond speculation and free from any sort of bias, there has to be positive evidence for the argument.

I'm not arguing it happened in 2 days or 2 years, but whatever the truth is requires evidence for me to believe it.

I would however believe that a game which spans 3 generations, can have an amazingly short duration of time, like, say, 30 years, because PS3 kind of did.
