Kraft Foods says they will seperate into two companies:

Wow, I didn't realize that they had so many different products. Lots of snack items there, and other foods. I tend to think of only Kraft Mac & Cheese and a few other things. :yaknow:

Kraft does have a surprisingly large number of brands under their umbrella. I looked it up once; it was surprising to see some of the brands I've noticed in the store as Kraft products. A lot of them don't have Kraft logos clearly visible on the packaging.

There has been such a trend of consolidation and buy outs in businesses over the last few years that seeing a company refocus itself like this is a refreshing change. I hope it's successful for them. There are a few others that could benefit from this approach, I think.
