Happy easter, everyone! I just spent basically the entire day outside in one of Pittsburgh's giant parks. Biking, birdwatching, flying a radio control toy of mine...it was great. Saw a Pileated Woodpecker and walked/biked a total of at least 15 miles today.

Can anyone tell me why Canadians celebrate Easter on Monday instead of on Sunday? Not being flip or anything, I'd really like to know. :yes:

We actually celebrate both on Sunday and Monday. The reason being is that some people have to work on Good Friday so Easter Monday was basically invented so those who worked on Good Friday could take the day off on Easter Monday.

So basically Easter Monday is a holiday the government created just so they could be lazy, just like Family Day. >_>

Uuuuhhhg, I ate a pound of Cadbury Creme Eggs and other chocolate products yesterday. Don't try that at home folks.
