 Post subject: Happy Birthday, Nintendo

Today is the birthday of Nintendo! Love them or hate them, no one can deny that Nintendo is a large part of the reason video gaming has become a worldwide pastime. The company was founded on this day in 1889, making them 121 years old today.

Before they moved into video games, the company made playing cards. Some of the card sets can fetch a high price on the collectors market now.
