That's not a very big spider at all. Re-read the news article title. It's the largest fossil of a spider that is known to have been discovered.
If you want a big spider, check out a show called
Monster Hunt on The History Channel. The searched for a spider that was sighted in Africa by a British explorer about a hundred years, which according to the report was estimated to be about six feet tall (or something like that). There's a large species of spider native to the Asian rainforests that preys mainly on birds which commonly grows to a foot from tip of its front to tip of its hind legs... and the natives eat them. Yuck!
