Today, February 12th, is Abraham Lincoln's birthday. Abe was a former President of the United States. He was born February 12, 1809, in Kentucky. During his Presidential term, He was assassinated (shot on April 14, 1865), and died April 15, 1865.

Lincoln's birthday is usually celebrated along with George Washington's birthday (Feb. 22) on the official holiday we call "President's Day", which this year is being celebrated on Monday, Feb. 18th.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, January 12 is Abraham Lincoln's birthday. Of course it is usually celebrated along with George Washington's birthday on what we call President's Day which is on Monday, January 17, 2014. Happy Birthday to and remembering a former US President on these days!! :usa:
