How to find a stolen Xbox

Postby Thoul » Thu Dec 18, '08, 5:24 am

This might not work for everyone, but those who are students with an Xbox 360 might want to keep this in mind. A Missouri State student's console was stolen, but he was able to track it down through use of a controller. Here's more about it. Apparently the controller's signal can be used like a homing beacon to locate the system. Pretty neat, huh?

Yeah, that was neat. I feel like I've just been through a whole "Columbo" episode or some such detective program where they hunt down the criminal, etc.

I am very impressed, though, really with how they found it in the end. I still find it hard to believe they just fell asleep and someone came in and stole something right out from under them though. Did they not lock their doors???

The comments under the article were kinda interesting and funny too. :D
