Falcons are awesome. I even have actually seen this birds in the wild when I lived in Pittsburgh, as there's a pair with a nest in the city. I remember this one taking a while to do the texturing.

That's a lot of detail on the wing. I can believe this one took a good long while to finish. In retrospect, I realize I've heard about these birds from TV and books all my life, but never actually knew what they looked like. It's nice to have a color scheme and general shape to associate with those memories.
Man, that's an amazing drawing. I agree with Thoul, the wing has a lot of detail. It must have taken a long time to draw that. Good luck with your next drawing!

Thanks! However, this drawing is an older one. There's a whole bunch of these all over the site, so I hope you enjoy them too. Thanks for the good luck as well, even though it might be a while before I draw again, since I just finished up a ton for the holidays.

Ach, can't believe I haven't commented on this drawing yet. I really like this one. The underbody feathers and the feet really attract me. Such a regal looking bird also. Very nice.
