The Motavian NPC sprites in PSIV definitely have an Ewok feel to them. I think it's the combination of their features and the hoods they wear.

I agree; Motavians have an Ewok feel... but it seems like Gryz and the other Motavians are much larger in stature than they were in Phantasy Star I.
