Starting small, that's good. You should try to edit some character portraits as well. Just give their hair a recolour, or change their eye colour. Pixel art can be quite tricky to get right at first, but I trust you'll come right in the end.

You're geting there, slowly but surely. Try to add some more shading on your next one. The more detail you add, the more professional your work will look.
