Huh... those crazy Sega translators changed the story again with Rulakir, huh? A fully translated script would be something great to see for PSIII. I remember seeing a partial translation. I think it only covered Rhys and Ayn, though, so it wouldn't help much with Rulakir.
Yeah, those were the only ones I've seen, too. Though they missed one little part in the first generation that I HAVE seen in the Japanese rom. It's in the beginning of the game, in Landen's castle at the left side where the path ends. Don't know what it says in the Japanese version, (though my friend who can read a little bit of Japanese said it was related to the princess of Satera) but in the American version there's only ". . ."
That's the trouble with making a script by playing a game when there is so much dialog - you're bound to miss some lines along the way. I've got copies of two different scripts for PSIV; one is much, much more complete than the other. Even so, I know the second one missed some variations of dialog that can be caused by visiting places at different times.
I'd definitely like to hear more of Rulakir. I remember getting to him and being like... who are you and why have you been sitting in a chair for 1000 years?!?
That sounds like my reaction when I first ran into him. I said, "who is this guy and why am I fighting him?" It felt like he really came out of nowhere and was just stuck on at the end.
