Good Deeds-Maine kids to get $500 for college

This sounds like a very nice story for a change since we hear so many bad things that happen in the world every day. It was nice to read something good and positive for a change.

This also reminds me a little bit of Hillary Clinton's plan to give every baby in the US a college fund start also.

That's good, but even better that the program is set up to invest the money so it can gain interest over many years. Hopefully inflation won't rise so much that books alone cost $2000 in twenty years. They're nearly $500 or more now, depending on the school.
