Glen Campbell has passed away at age 81 from Alzheimer's Disease. He was a gifted singer, musician, actor, and all around fabulous entertainer. Condolences to his family.
He costarred in the movie "True Grit" with actor John Wayne, and actress Kim Darby. John Wayne won an Academy Award for this movie. The only Oscar Wayne ever won. Glenn sung the title of the song "True Grit" for the movie.
Campbell had many hit songs to his credit including "Rhinestone Cowboy", "Gentle On My Mind", Wichita Lineman", "Southern Nights", and many, many more!
He was a versatile and gifted musician who played with many entertainers before he became famous himself, including the Beach Boys, Elvis Presley, and others.
He also had a tv show called the "Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour" several years ago.
