Giving a game for Christmas?

Postby Thoul » Wed Nov 28, '07, 4:43 am

Are you planning to give anyone a game as a gift for Christmas this year? If so, what game are you giving?

Personally I don't know any dedicated gamers offline, so I'm not planning to give a game to anyone.

I get my games from other people, not the other way around. XD The only people that enjoy video games other than me are my brothers, and my aunt for the really cute games.
Everything has a pattern. Something set. Even random things. They aren't random at all, its complex mathematics. The trick is to find the pattern. Then you can exploit it.

People think things have a certain end. Taxes. Work. Due dates don't really exist. Trust me. When you put a band of world scholars in the same room, and set them on talking about anything, the most interesting topics come up. The existence of negative time. The probability of "random occurrence". The government's involvement in the media. And falsified due dates. They aren't real, trust me....

Not this year. Usually most of the time a game is in the list from friends and family. I do not even want a game this year. XD

I thought about giving someone a game, but I decided against it. I don't think they would enjoy it all that much.

I have a friend in Canada who is a big gamer. His girlfriend recently walked out on him, and he's been pretty down. When she left, she ganked his DS. I might send him a new DS and Contra 4. I'll probably throw Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow for Xbox in there too, since he's a big Splinter Cell fan as well.

Wow, that must cost something.

That's got to stink, having an ex steal one of your game handhelds.

I'm buying my nephew a couple of racing games for the Playstation 2 - those $4.99 types like "Ford vs. Chevy" and "Tokyo Drift Racing". Last year I bought a friend the "Sneak King" game from Burger King because I thought it looked hilarious.
