Phantasy Star: Fringes of Algo

It's been a long time since the Ghostbusters movie 1 and 2. Now it appears there " might " be a #3 one day in the future. Let's hope everything comes together to make it happen. Since it seems that remakes of older movie themes is very popular these days, I think this news is awesome! Anyone else looking forward to a 3rd Ghostbusters film, or do you think the franchise has been done enough already??

I'm pretty excited for this. Both for the movie and the game! In fact, here's two trailers for Ghostbuster: The Video Game!

I'm pumped. To top it off, it comes out NEXT WEEK! I really want to see the movie though when it comes out. Though, if it is like every other movie I want to see, it will be out in either 2010 or 2011. T-T

I would love to get my hands on the game! However, with little Alis on the way I have to really pick out which ones I want and then see if I can pay them off before they come out. I definitely plan on seeing the movie and I heard a rumor [haven't checked SS's link yet] that Steve Carrell will be playing in the new movie.

I had the impression that the movie was further along than this, from past articles. Ah well, here's to hoping it gets made. I'm glad to see that the game is at least going to be released soon.

Hope they don't incorporate any of the elements from "Extreme Ghostbusters", that was far to drastic of a departure from the original movies and cartoon series for my liking.

I was flipping the channels last night and guess what I found on the AMC channel???? It was "Ghostbuster" and "Ghostbuster 2" movies showing right after each other. Well, I hadn't seen them in so long that I watched a little of it. Wow, those guys & gals were really young back then. It really took me back a ways. Remember the stay-puff marshmallows and stay-puff marshmallow man????

Also, I'll bet they advertised the new Ghosbusters Video Game in almost every other commercial. Now, that's hype! Maybe it will help the game though.

Here's a new interview with Bill Murray in which he is asked about Ghostbusters 3.

The movie is supposed to be released next year according to the place I found this, but Murray says they don't even have a script yet. Sounds like this movie is going to be vaporware.

It looks like there may be a "Ghostbusters 3" after all. According to this article, the script is almost ready:

It will be fantastic if they can get all the original ghostbuster stars to be in this film also.

But it does kind of sound like this may be a handing over the mantle or reins to a new and younger version of ghostbusters though. I'm not sure how that may go over with fans.
