Yup. At least there's emulation and fans who've translated Mother 3 so other people can play it, but that's probably all we'll get. Nintendo seems to like to stick it to Mother/Earthbound fans.

I’d like to see something done with Xenogears personally. A re-release maybe, and if it happens to have it come to Australia as well.

I'd kind of like to see Crusader of ZeldaCenty/Soleil/Whatevertheycalleditinyourcountry released on the Virtual Console.

Agreed, Tanith. I still have a cartridge of that game and a working Genesis, but I'm afraid of the Genesis dying any day now. I'd get that on the VC in a heartbeat if it came out and my Genesis was dead (along with PSIV.)

In terms of gameplay, yeah, it's pretty comparable.

Yes, quite similar. The story is different enough to make it an interesting game on its own, though. It also has a fantastic soundtrack.

Sounds like one I should track down, then. Zelda style game play is great fun, but the Zelda style story has gotten repetitive. Maybe a different story will be a good experience.
