So, will this influence your decision on whether or not to buy one of these consoles??

That's better than the old price to be sure, but still kind of high for my budget right now.

That's actually rather cheap when compared to the Australian price. I remember when I bought my 120GB PS3 around mid-year, last year it cost me $499.95 AUD. (Price sticker is still on the box )

The 160GB PS3 in however Australia had it's price dropped from $500 to $348 recently.

I won't because I've already bought one recently. Though the Brazilian price is out of tune with the American. The official price is around US$900 nowadays, but with care you can find some at a bit more than US$600.

If only I could buy consoles for US$250...

Way high for my budget. Plus, I'm still happy enough with my Wii and PS2.
Next Pokemon game(s): Pearl
Last finished Pokémon game: Shield
Other games: Skyrim Special Edition (Switch), Spyro Reignited Trilogy (Switch & PS4), Okami (Switch & PS4)
Other gaming goals: completing a Living Pokedex (minus some event Pokes) and going through at least 1 game per generation
