Video Game sales were way down for the past month of May 2011:

The bad economy probably has a great deal to do with this, along with other circumstances, etc.


Yay, for Mortal Kombat 20ll being one of the top ten selling games of last month. :clap:

Couldn't be because new console titles tend to launch at a whopping $60 now could it?

You complain too much about prices. Here we have titles all over US$120, with the new ones over $150.

That said, I think it is an effect of saturation of the current consoles. Nothing new has been done to shake the market. Most of the new games being sequels aimed to the hardcore fans, they sell well, but won't bring the casual buyer or new fans. That makes the market stagnate.
