Anyone here a fan of the old movie "Red Dawn" starring actor Patrick Swayze? It is one of my favorite movies.
I just read that they are doing a remake of this movie and that actor Tom Cruise's 14 year old son will have a part in the new movie. I read the list of the other actors already chosen, but I didn't recognize any of their names.
From what I read, they think the movie will be in the theatres around sometime in 2010.
I have found very few movie remakes that have even been half as good as the original movies, so I have my doubts about this remake. Still, it will be interesting to see how they put a new spin on this one.

I used to love Red Dawn. I haven't seen it in quite a while, though. I'm not sure how I feel about the remake. I expect the story will be changed to fit in with current world events and I'm just not sure how that will impact my opinion of the film.
