Frozen

Postby Silver_Surfer1 » Tue Apr 1, '14, 2:36 am

"Frozen" has now achieved a remarkable victory in movie status as it has surpassed "Toy Story 3" as the highest grossing animated movie of all time! Congrats!!

Has anyone here seen this movie, and if so, what is your opinion of it? I have not seen it yet but it is certainly on my list of soon to watch movies.

Same here, I really want to see it, I've heard great things about it. And Disney movies always have awesome music.

I've never heard of it before, but then again I don't go to movie theatres. I watched the trailer just now, and I'm not sure it would be my thing. I can't even remember the last Disney movie I watched. Shrek maybe? and I coudn't stand it.

We saw it in theaters…in fact, my boyfriend kind of dragged me to it, LOL. He was actually interested not in the plot, but more in the CGI animation. Also, made by the same team that made Wreck-it Ralph. And quite honestly, the animation, especially on the snow, was pretty spectacular, no denying that.

Now, I'm not that big a fan of Disney or musicals. I find them a little too predictable and safe, and the music just isn't my thing. But for what it's worth, Frozen was decent and I enjoyed it for what it was. I also have to give some respect to how it avoided some of the tropes that drive me NUTS in musicals and fairy tale stories (one in particular at the end). I can't say I'm going out of my way to see it again, but I also wouldn't avoid it either.

Last finished Pokémon game: Shield
Other games: Skyrim Special Edition (Switch), Spyro Reignited Trilogy (Switch & PS4), Okami (Switch & PS4)
Other gaming goals: completing a Living Pokedex (minus some event Pokes) and going through at least 1 game per generation
