Everyone keep a close eye on your doggies as there is a type of dog flu going around in some areas of the United States. Heard a report about this last night on the television news and saw this online today:

Good news that humans may not be able to catch it, but doesn't sound too good regarding cats.

Nice to know. However, I question why antibiotics are being used to treat this in some places...antibiotics don't do a thing for viral infections and likely do more harm than good in such a case.

I read something the other day about the possibility of the dog flu being back. Lots of stuff going around this year, so take care of your doggies and other pets.
