:D I am not fond of lizards (or dragon lizards or iguanas) either. Don't want to be anywhere near them. However, a member of my family has always had a fascination for them and even wanted to get one to live in the house....I said NO WAY!!

Lizards give me the creeps. Especially large lizards. When I was growing up, I knew a kid that had an obsession with reptiles, and I couldn't even set foot in his basement because he had snakes, lizards, all kinds of stuff. He always tried to get me to hold them, and I would flip out. Maybe that's where my fear stems from.

Am I the only one to "love" lizards here ? ;) I like snakes too (nice touching skin !) but I understand why some people can be afraid of them !

I like reptiles! I find them fascinating, personally. I have touched a few as well and occasionally I've thought of having a pet lizard.

I've always thought reptiles were cool, never owned one, though. I wanted to keep a turtle as a kid, but at this point I don't think it's much of a life for the animal, just sitting in a cage all day. My friend has a number of reptiles, several snakes and I think he used to have a water dragon or something, but they're not quite interactive enough for me, I prefer cats or dogs and I wouldn't be averse to just about any tameable mammal.

I like reptiles and snakes but I've never ownwed one too ! And I think I'll never as I have a cat and I love rats and hamsters too ;) One of my pupils have a turtle ! That is a very funny animal, and his life is very extended ! She can go in the garden and isn't always in a cage.
Yes I prefer cats too (more than dog) and I love rabbits ! I had some before :)
