McDonald's new look

Some McDonald's restaurants are getting a spiffy new makeover...what do you think about this:

I admit it's aesthetically pleasing to the eyes, almost reminds me of pop art.

Yes, I agree. Pop art is definitely what comes to my mind from that picture. It sounds like they've put a lot of thought into the new designs. Latches on seats should help a lot of parents to keep track of their kids in the hectic hours.

The local store was just remodeled a few years ago, though. Less than five years, I think. It seems rather soon to do yet another redesign.

Bumping this to say that I've had to take a detour on my trip home in the wee hours of the morning due to major construction on the beltway. I drive through three of Northern VA's major suburban communities, and each of their McDonald's restaurants has gotten the makeover. Even their exteriors look different. I haven't been inside one, because I'm only driving home, but I can see the new lights and booths through the windows. They certainly fit in with the communities better now.
