If you're depressed or just feel bad, here are some foods that may improve your mood, along with some other tips:

I knew exercise helped improve one's mood a lot, but now I know foods do also. Learn something new every day, I guess. :)

Coffee makes me a better person. I also heard heroin makes you feel delightful, but the side effects are a real downer.

I do not believe this would be considered a food (as the article above refers to), but it would be considered perhaps a drug instead.

However, you are right about one thing, many drugs may make you feel better for awhile, but in some cases the side effects can make you feel exactly the opposite for awhile or a lot longer.
