I like the Mayfield brand. The other brands I have tried, I just haven't enjoyed the taste of much.

New Question:

What is your favorite summertime food or drink that you like to eat/drink to help cool you off when the weather is hot?

Ice Cream! :hyper: I also like snowcones. We have a little snowcone maker, though we don't use it all that much. This is the perfect weather for it, though! :sunny:

I have to go with watermelon. Ice Cream is good too, but watermelon is better. I don't have it very often, but it is always good.

Hey, I agree with all you guys! Ice Cream, snowcones, and watermelon are great ways to cool off in the summer time.

Here's one of my favorites - freeze a coke. Just take a coke, put it in a plastic or tupperware cup or container (DO NOT USE GLASS) and put it in the freezer for a short while. I guess it is a type of homemade slushy. slushy's from the store are great too.

Also, another yummy treat, take a root beer drink and add your favorite ice cream to it making a type of root bear float! Mmmmmm, good!

Another treat - Take your favorite punch, juice, or drink and pour it in some popsical maker containers, or you can use ice cube trays and just put a popsical stick in each compartment. There you have your favorite flavor on a stick to eat.

Eh, I guess I would say chocolate, but I usually only eat it on donuts, with the exception of a few things around Christmas. I'm not a big candy lover, either.

Okay, here's a weird food item I heard on the news today. :o

I don't remember where the location was but somewhere a lady has grown in her garden what they call a "strawmato", I believe they called it. It looks on the outside like a tomato but on the inside it looks like a strawberry. Now, that's weird. It was a good size like a big tomato and red also. It would be interesting to hear how she came up with that one. I wonder how it tastes also.

Anyone else heard of any weird food facts? The newspapers are usually full of them this time of year when folks are growing stuff in their gardens - huge cabbages, extra long cucumbers, etc., etc., etc.
