It is an overall improvement to the last draft, though imo the piano needs to be louder.

The piano is the instrument that boggles me the most in that mix for now. Feel free to discuss/suggest.

Louder? More varied tracks? Adding other piano tracks would make it sound louder.

Yes, I think the piano needs to be a bit louder. I don't know about varying it... I'd have to hear it, I think.

I also changed the key, raised the melody 4 semitones. Is that good to the ears? The choir sound lot less floored that way.

The choir was a bit loud in the beginning. I think you should make the piano and flute arrangement your main priority, Aero. And maybe bring the choirs towards the middle of the melody, instead of at the beginning.

As I said, there is no beginning or end in that, it's just a loop to show you what all the instruments sound like.

The song I posted has zero structure for now.

This has significantly progressed and needs to be reviewed some. As usual, please be verbose.

All this song needs now is a good finale.

So here is a refresher on what the last version looked like.

And here is the latest one.

Thank you for your ears, I love and appreciate them as always.

I love and appreciate my ears too. Hopefully I will do so for a loooooong time yet. :p

Anyway, looks like you finally got a version you can work with. I like it. :D One minor thing I will mention is that the volume seems to dip a bit at 2:03 for a fraction of a second.

Otherwise, everything seems to be in order. None of the instruments and such are overly loud or drowning anything else out and it flows together very nicely indeed. Looking forward to the final draft.

I like your choice of instrumentation and the staccato strings doing arpeggios is especially pleasing. It mimics the arpeggios in the game, so that's a nice touch. It was hard to distinguish the melody in both B sections and the chord change was rather abrupt. I'll echo Xander and say that it does seem like you're in the home stretch now. That's a good thing, and as always, looking forward to the final version. :)

Almost three years ago, this was started. Then two years ago, this was pretty much shelved.

And then Friday night, inspiration struck. I have spent nearly every waking hour on this for the last two days.

Remix completed! And I think I outdid myself!

See Nekoprism.com for the whole story behind this remix!
