Field Motavia (Remix name Pending) - Aeroprism's remix.

What made it stick for me was that I heard it often enough. Plus it's kind of catchy and as a Dune freak I like my sci-fi desert worlds. Much better than the real thing, I will say that much.

But it's true, it's one of the best tunes in the game and complements the world map very well. Good thing too because you spend a lot of time on the world map on Motavia, unlike your shorter stay on Dezoris where most times are spent in the ice digger anyway, so you need a good tune.

So um...keep it up Aero. I look forward to the end result.

I scrapped it all, re-did it, completely electronic, without losing the original feel. It's late, I need sleep, but tomorrow I'll work to post a demo version.

Myeah... electro version demo available here. Be honest, tear it apart if need be. I still have the orchestral version if it's hugely preferred.

I liked the instrumentation on the melody, but there was something about the bass that seemed... lacking? Too repetitive? I'd like to hear it with a different bass line, in other words.

There's definitely something about the bass that's a bit odd. Maybe try a different bass line as Tanith said and see if that changes things.
