Eh, I'd pass, myself, though, because of the fat content in movie theater popcorn... basically a medium sized bag of movie theater popcorn has the equivalent of three McD's quarter pounders. Ew. :ill:

it must be an American thing because I've never really had any issues with the popcorn here. Either that or it all just magically vanishes into thin air.

It's this really disgusting "butter flavored" peanut or coconut oil they use to pop it and then drizzle on top of it.

Regular popcorn (non-theater) is just... popcorn.

I pop some on the stove in a pan the old fashioned way and it doesn't have the fat or sodium the theater stuff has.

Eh, we have no AMC theaters around here. I always hear about AMC giving offers like this, but we only have Carmikes in this area. They used to do dollar offers on Tuesdays, but didn't publicize it much.

But yes, theater popcorn can be horrible. I like the taste, but I can't eat very much of it. The kind made at home is much easier to handle.
