What is your favorite sport to watch and to play?

I like to play softball/baseball, though I haven't really done that in years. Baseball is also my favorite to watch, but again, I haven't followed it lately.

I've never been much of a sports person. It's just not my thing.

I used to watch baseball when the local state team was having a strong run, but that was about ten years ago.

Favorite sport to play is baseball. Favorite sport to watch is probably ice skating. I love watching several various sports including football, volleyball, skating, ice dancing, wrestling, and lots of the stuff they have during the olympics (winter and summer).

I'm not a big sport person either. Although, my best friend practices swordsmanship and he usually lets me watch him spar/fight in competitions.

Anyone looking forward to, or keeping up with, the Kentucky Derby horse race this weekend? The Queen of England will be there this year. Also, Dannielynn's dad, Larry Birkhead, may be around there somewhere possibly according to some news shows.

Well, I just saw in the news where a horse named "Street Sense" won the Kentucky Derby for this year. I didn't watch the race. Anyone here watch it? I hope it was a good one. Anyway, Congratulations to Street Sense and his owners, his jockey, etc.

Bumping this thread up. Any other Sports fans here now? I heard where former baseball players Cal Ripken and Mark somebody were admitted to the Baseball Hall Of Fame. Cool!

Also, did anyone hear about Iraq winning that sports event. I think it was soccer but not sure about that. Congratulations to them. I think that's quite an achievement and an accomplishment especially as how their country seems to be in such turmoil and confusion most of the time.

I don't keep up with current sport events much. However, I used to love playing soccer and floor hockey in school. Never cared for playing other things much, especially basketball -- never liked it, never will. :D

I enjoy watching the NFL, but I've dropped all my other spectator sport interests due to time, and because it's gotten too passive for my liking. The only sport I play is basketball, which I absolutely love. My jump shot is killer from deep! 8)

Not really into sports myself. I use to play soccer a bit when I was younger and then I got a ankle injury, and then I broke a toe in a friendly game. 0_0
