Phantasy Star: Fringes of Algo

When our heroes visit Gumbious Temple to borrow the Eclipse Torch, three fiends appear to delay them. These Xe-A-Thouls steal the holy relic and whisk it away to the Air Castle, inviting the heroes to come and try to get it back. As quickly as they appeared, the monsters vanish without a trace.

Yep, that's where the name comes from. I got there in a sort of roundabout way and didn't intend to take it from these guys, but that is the ultimate origin.
