That's correct, the script can be edited but the length or number of script entries can't be changed. I haven't found where/how text pointers are stored so until then you have to live with fixed-length strings.

Define "weird" :)

whuh... i have encountered those "missing enemies" before! wirebot was encountered while playing as ayn, on satellite. guardbot was encountered while playing as ayn, all round, more common in dungeon.
imp was encountered while playing as rhys in aridia, and so on.
my signature has gone on vacation.
sigh... i wonder when exactly it might come home?

What were you playing the game on? Maybe there's a version where this was fixed to allow them to appear.

You've met them ?? But Like Thouls has asked : where ? Which version I mean ! Because we were telling us wher you encoutered them.
As for me, I've not been playing PSIII for a very long time so I can't really remember if I've already met them but I don't think so..I'm playing on emulators on the most part so maybe one day it will happen ?

i suppose so. in the version im playing a producer speaks on how some enemies made it back into the game.
but i have ps2, though it should not differ to much between versions, though i suspect the mega drive collections are not quite the original games, but have a few surprises laid in that the originals had, cartridge to CD see?

Hm, well, yeah maybe that's one of the things they fixed in that collection. It runs on some kind of emulator I think, so if nothing else maybe the emulator has a patch for it somehow.One day I'll have to play through that version of the game and see if I can find them myself.

I used to have that for the PS2 :( But the disc broke and the PS2 is broken too :( I never got far in PS3 on it, I had no clue what to do, so I doubt I'll ever meet those missing enemies ;_;

I do have The Sega Megadrive Ultimate Collection for Xbox 360, but my older brother took my Xbox 360 :( I didn't meet any of those missing enemies, as the Xbox 360 versions are exactly the same as Genesis/Megadrive collections.

Maybe one day I'll meet them...

I wonder why the Imp would have been in G1 tho...

Rhys: Imps? In our generation? That's weird.
Mieu: Yeah, I know. Ah, well. I think we can take them on. ^_^
Lyle: Just gotta be careful. They've got cousins called sylphs and nereids in the other kingdoms.
Lena: Lyle, they're just imps! You worry too much! XD
Wren: Then I shall lead the assault.

(ONE EXTREMELY ONE-SIDED ROUND OF COMBAT LATER)

Maia: (finishes burying Rhys and the others at the beach where they met) ;_;
Rhys: (under six feet of beach) ...You know, that game over text doesn't exactly say we're dead, Maia. It just says we lost our will to fight.
