I was reading an article yesterday where they had their picks of the best and the worst shampoos. Naturally, my shampoo was not on either list, lol.

Anyway, what shocked me most was that many of these shampoos were costing over $10.00, or $20.00, and sometimes even $30.00 a bottle. :yikes: I don't think I have ever spent over $5.00 for a bottle of shampoo. If I have, I can't recall it.

So, that got me to thinking about all the various different kinds of shampoos. And, I was just wondering, what kind of shampoo do you use, and why do you like that particular brand? Also, How much is the most you have ever spent for a bottle of shampoo (was it under $10.00 or over $10.00)?

This is the series of products I use: Gym Grooming.

I mainly use the shampoos, but I've used the body wash too. Best smelling stuff I've ever come across, and worth every penny IMO.

I have to use some of the overly expensive stuff...because my hair is thick and curly, and nothing else can really manage it unless the stuff I use is also thick, and thus generally a bit more expensive than most other stuff.

CW, you must have some beautiful hair. I love curly hair.

Silver_Surfer, what's the list of best and worst shampoos? Do you recall some of them?

I use the slightly spendy stuff usually, like Redken, when I have the money to spare. But I also like Abba - it's great botanical stuff; not too spendy, and it smells sooooooo good. The shampoo has a cherry bark scent, and the conditioner smells like mint.

My mom usually buys the shampoo in the house. I just use whatever is there. Though I will say that I do tend to use Head & Shoulders quite a bit. Even though I don't have dandruff! ^_^

I've used a lot of different shampoos, and so far my favorite is Herbal Essences--which can be a tad expensive. Still, it smells so good~~~

I use Tresseme (SP) because you get alot in the bottle. I'm never going to spend alot of money on shampoo. I don't have the cash to waste on something like that. :D

Not exactly sure what I use. Never had to buy shampoo, my mom has always been the one to buy that sort of stuff. All I can recall off hand is that it's Avon brand.
