Something seasonal.

While not related to Phantasy Star in any way whatsoever, or entirely artful, here's a little something I thought I'd share with you. Plus it's summer, so why not? :)

I've also just finished a little painting project tonight, so I'll post up some pics tomorrow if I get time to take photos.

They're actually regarded as weeds by some, but in a forest at this time of year they literally carpet the ground creating a sea of green and purple as far as you can see. I have photos showing this but they are too dark in comparison. It's nice to have a place like this close by, considering the rise of crop forests for the timber trade.

Sadly It's now chucking it down outside and looks set to continue for days...again. lol

That is a nice photo. You don’t see that many colours all in one area in Australia’s scenery. Well not where I live anyway. Thanks for sharing.

So I've been told. It's mostly just dust isn't it with bits of vegetation around. The same could be said about the mountain regions here though. Everything is just a different shade of brown, except the weather is the opposite of what you get in Australia, being cold winds, rain and snow in winter.

Also, your signature is really quite funny. :D

Well I suppose it’ll get dusty if I go out and kick the ground a bit. Basically its all just gum trees which is only grey and green. Pretty bland, but I do love our rainforests though to bad I don’t live near one and too bad they’re declining every year.

Actually Xander you’ve just given me a good idea I got photos from the last time I went to the daintree rainforest on my computer. Thanks man.

Thanks I only recently changed that in my sig.

Hey no problem, happy to help. I'm sure the rainforest will give you a few good photo opportunities. :)

Terrific pic, Xander! I also like the flowers. The purple color really adds to the pic, as does the sunlight!

Thank you Silver_Surfer. :) If all goes well, I'll have a swathe of photo from the 6 day outing I'm hoping to get done in a couple of weeks time. If the weather holds out (which it better, 6 days is a long time to be on foot in bad weather) I'll be getting some fantastic photos of the highland scenery. :D

Bumping this up again as this is one of my favorite pics here. :)

I know summer is over now, winter is coming, and Spring seems like a long way off, but looking at this photo helps to remind us that the sun is still shining somewhere, and no matter what troubles, trials, or storm clouds we may be facing right now in our own lives, it won't be long until the sun will be shining for us again.

Totally Awesome Inspiration Photo!!!
