Lashute Falls

Postby Thoul » Sat Dec 29, '07, 8:10 am

After Dark Force was defeated and the grandson of Rhys unleashed the deadly Megido technique, the flying city of Lashute took heavy damage. As the walls crumbled and the heroes escaped, the flying power of the city began to fail. At long last, the city of evil dropped from the sky and disappeared beneath the waves of the Terminus dome.

The irony; the same technique that is gained from freeing Dark Force is used to destroy the city in which it dwells in the end.

Makes me wonder, was Dark Force hoping to use Rhys' grandson as well?

I believe so, but only to the extent of freeing Dark Force. DF's plans seem to be rather lacking after that point. A lot of it's plans fall short though, thanks to the defeat of Lune or Siren.

Quote from Elsydeon, "What was it, WHAT possesed you to pull out that sword..." -Orakio to any of the 3rd generation characters
Everything has a pattern. Something set. Even random things. They aren't random at all, its complex mathematics. The trick is to find the pattern. Then you can exploit it.

People think things have a certain end. Taxes. Work. Due dates don't really exist. Trust me. When you put a band of world scholars in the same room, and set them on talking about anything, the most interesting topics come up. The existence of negative time. The probability of "random occurrence". The government's involvement in the media. And falsified due dates. They aren't real, trust me....

Sean: Aww, man! There were like four treasure boxes we left in there!
Kara: Don't care, everybody in that damn city's dead and I hope it hurt. I'm going to Landen to get drunk.
Laya: I think getting to Dark Force was more important than opening those treasure chests, Sean--
Sean: (tosses armor aside and jumps into the water)
Mieu: ...Hey, Wren? Don't you still have those Sub Parts we put in you before?
Wren: I cannot use them unless there is a whirlpool nearby.
Kara: (sigh) Whatever. Once Sean's done with his little swim tell him he's holding up my honeymoon. >=(

It looked more like a colossus mansion rather than a city.

What does Lashute mean also?

An interesting thing (I believe !) but I'm not sure if it has got a link with it : but if you put the words in french as follows : "La chute", if I translate it direct in english it's "The fall" !
it's funny and maybe there is a link but I'm not "Shure"
And why named this "city" like that ? (maybe the builders didn't kow any french words ? ;))
