Endangered Wolves

Some lawmakers want to take away the wolf's endangered status in some areas of the US:

I feel for the people losing livestock to wolf attacks, but the proposed plan is more than a little overboard in dealing with that situation. Maybe they just need to come up with a better way to deter wolves from getting at the livestock.
