Read about an Elvis memorabilia auction happening sometime in October, I think:

This should be interesting.

Did you see how much money they think the Elvis hair "weave" may bring??? I really love Elvis, but even I don't think I would give that much money for his hair. :yaknow:

That's really creepy. I mean, holding on to a tuft of hair for over 50 years? I'm surprised it would have lasted so long. Maybe it's fake like the comments there suggested. I wonder if the buyer could get it DNA tested somehow.

Should be easy enough to get it DNA tested if they wanted to. I'm sure there is probably some of Elvis's DNA around somewhere (old clothes, hair combs, old toothbrushes, etc.) They probably NEVER threw anything away that Elvis owned, or even touched. :yes: Also, I think cut hair may actually last that long. I have a bit of hair that I cut off someone over 30 years ago (for a rememberance) and it still looks good. :wink:
