Toyo Ozaki celebrated the tenth anniversary of Phantasy Star III with a new installment of her bridal series. This April marks the 21st anniversary of the game's release in Japan, so today we revisit this image of the bride who was never a marriage choice in the actual game. Mieu presents a stunning vision in a white wedding dress trimmed with bows, lace, and flowers that match her bouquet. Here is to twenty one years of {PSII_L}!
And H-man died at this sight. It was too much for him
Such a beautiful and lovely picture. By Ozaki work, it is obvious that she held Mieu in a special place among her characters, as most of the commemorative drawings were of Mieu.
Pictures like this one explain why I consider Ozaki the best character designer of the series.
A person only sees and hears what he wants to see and hear and disregards the rest.
Yes, Tili, this is a favorite image of mine. I have it as one of the images that shows up as my background at work. I'm a bigger fan of the wedding dress Mieu than the Chinese dress Mieu. I think it's the hair.
*H-Man as Chaz, looks at Rika, aka Paula* Chaz-Man- "Hey, I've been wandering around Motavia for quite a while with you now. It says in that weird blue box up there that one more battle with a sandworm and we can level up to husband and wife!"
