EEE virus

Postby Silver_Surfer1 » Thu Sep 19, '19, 7:00 pm

Concerns over several people in Massachusetts (USA) who have gotten the EEE virus (Eastern Equine Encephalitis) from mosquito bites. Some of them have died. This is very scary as from what I know there is no cure.

People are being warned to cover up when you go outside to protect from mosquito bites and take other precautions if possible. Warnings also to not let children out at dusk or dawn until the first frost is what I heard on the tv news.

One good thing about colder weather coming is perhaps some of these problematic bugs may be gone atleast for awhile.

I hope a cure is found for this very soon.

Be careful everyone!!
